FaabX is the artist name of Fabio Poian, seasoned London based session drummer, who, aside from his extensive experience and career as a sideman musician playing for the likes of Arturo Sandoval, Melissa Manchester, Andrae Crouch and Clint Holmes among many, is also deep into music production, writing music and performing it using music technology such as Ableton Live and MIDI controllers to shape his sounds in real time.
Mirage (out Feb 26th) is his third single, in a style that nods to Big Beat 90's music titans such as The Prodigy and Fatboy Slim, but with its own unique flavor. The hypnotic bass line and the pounding drums are the base for the mysterious melodies and moods of this song which will take you on a far away musical journey.
